Prog-It Oy has developed software solutions for Outokumpu Oyj’s customs inward clearance for a number of years. In 2015, we were one of the suppliers in a large steel roll logistics project. Its aim was to rationalise the logistics process by making it easier to follow up orders and decrease any potential risks involved in the process. Our job was to deliver a handheld system that supports and complements the existing MES system. Our system offers our client added value as it became significantly easier to monitor and manage the flow of orders.
Outokumpu can always be sure that products ordered will find the right end client. It was a perfect project for us. As an extremely agile software provider, we were able to produce systems that met our clients’ all requirements. We handled every aspect of the project from start to finish: needs assessment, production and delivery of the system, in-house user training and support at the implementation phase.
